Help for those in self-isolation

At the conclusion of the Emergency General Meeting of the Council held on Monday 23rd March 2020 a discussion on support for the local community took place. The Chairman explained that formal support for the local community is being coordinated by the Vale of White Horse District Council and Oxfordshire County Council and we will update the website as and when we receive further information from them.

At a village level, there are groups and individuals offering help on social media and the Chairman also had some responses from a request which he made for volunteers.

Should you be in self isolation and require assistance, she is co-ordinating a group of residents in the village who are happy to help pick up prescriptions, do some emergency shopping, walk dogs or be a friendly person to talk to on the phone to give you some company during your isolation.
