This Neighbourhood Plan
Pre-submission Consultation is in line with Regulation 14 of The Neighbourhood
Planning Regulations (2012) and will run for a period of six weeks from Friday 1 July to Sunday 14 August 2022.
This consultation offers an opportunity to formally comment upon the Draft Plan and influence the content before the Final Plan is formally submitted to the Vale of White Horse District Council (VWHDC).
All comments received by Sunday 14th August will be considered by the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group to amend this draft Neighbourhood Plan.
A Consultation Statement, including a summary of all comments received and how these were considered, will be made available along with the amended Neighbourhood Plan on Sutton Courtenay Parish Council’s website.
The amended Plan will be submitted to the Vale of White Horse District Council under Regulation 15 of The Neighbourhood Planning Regulations (2012). Thereafter, VWHDC, as the Local Planning Authority, will take over the process which includes an independent examination of The Plan and a public referendum. Once adopted, Neighbourhood Plans form part of the statutory VHWC’s Development Plan and will be used for determining planning applications in the Neighbourhood Plan area.
The Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan has been produced using residents’ opinions and comments, together with those of other interest groups and stakeholders consulted. We have drafted seventeen land-use policies.
It should be noted that this is still a working document, and we need your comments to ensure it reflects the matters of importance and relevance to our area.
With regard to the seventeen draft polices, please could you consider the following:
· Are there things we have omitted?
· Are there elements that are unclear or require further explanation?
· Are there facts which are incorrect?
· What do you particularly like or support about the Plan?
Comments on the Pre-Submission Draft Plan can be recorded on the Pre-submission Consultation Comments Form, which is available to download and print off.
Completed forms should be returned by Sunday 14th August at the latest to the email address email@example.com
Please note that we will not accept responses that are anonymous, and comments may be made public, but not your personal details.
Thank you for your support.
